Madlib Circa early 2000's. Waiting patiently for some new projects of his.

I decided to say fuck it and pushed my work aside for a couple of hours to rock this. Not all that refined, but I still digs. I usually get a kick of motivation after I bitch and moan about it for a little bit. I'll be swamped now, but I am anyway so what's the difference?

I've sort of found my niche (I think) when it comes to the tablet... I use it more as a supplemental tool, as opposed to doing all the coloring with it. I just like hard lines and I can't get the exact definition I want with the tablet. Not to mention I have such an unsteady hand, that getting good transitional tones is always tough for me. So I use it as a post-work tool, upping the tonal values with blending brushes and stuff like that.

I love Mad Lib, very few producers have the respect I have for this guy, with perhaps exception to Danger Mouse and a couple others. But Mad Lib works so hard at his craft. A great image, and hard to believe it's vector, I love your textures man!

Thanks man. Madlib's music has been a huge source of inspiration for me for years now (I rocked the 1st Lootpack joint OVER AND OVER when that shit came out).

I strive to have my art look the way his beats sound, if that makes any sense at all. That's my goal.
