Sorta over-stimulated right now... I had a bunch of half-done sketches and this was the product of one of them... The ever-so-lovely Erykah Badu in a sorta goddess-type state (she already sorta is, but I just exaggerated on it a little bit).
I found a pic on her myspace page that I dug, and I drew it out on paper first to get a feel for what I wanted to do (I might post that too), and then just re-drew it in Illustrator alongside the pic. Semi-inspired by my Boots Riley joint. I just fucking love drawing fros. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
